The right barrier for your traffic
A residential car park barrier handling 40–60 passes a day does not need the same motor as the entrance to a warehouse taking articulated lorries.
We specify by cycles per hour, not by price. An undersized barrier pays the difference back in service calls within the first year.
Access control without lost remotes
In housing associations, remotes get lost, break, and end up with people who moved out years ago.
A GSM module with a number list solves it: each flat has its number registered, and when someone moves you delete one line instead of replacing every remote in the building.
Maintenance is not a formality
On a system used daily, a six-monthly service means greasing, checking forces, cleaning photocells and tightening the connections in the panel.
It takes under an hour, costs little, and it is the difference between a barrier that works and one that jams on the exact morning your delivery arrives.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a barrier installation take?
One day for the barrier and its foundation, plus a second day if an inductive loop is cut into the tarmac and the sealing compound needs to cure.
Can the barrier read number plates?
Yes, with an LPR camera and whitelist software. It works very well for company yards with their own fleet. For public car parks we combine it with cards for unregistered vehicles.
What if the barrier stays down and a queue forms?
Every barrier has a key release and the arm lifts by hand in seconds. We show the site manager how at handover.
Do you maintain equipment installed by someone else?
Yes. We carry out an initial inspection first, give you a written report of what is worn and what needs replacing, and only then discuss a contract.
